When a crowd attacked the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya, killing several people
including the US ambassador, it was initially seen by some as part of a rising
tide of religiously-motivated violence.....
A small group of researchers will be watching closely.
They are part of a growing scientific discipline that is trying to identify the
neurological and biological mechanisms that lead people to commit such acts
with the ultimate goal of finding ways to stop them happening at all.
Last february news that US troops in Afghanistan had sent copies of the Koran
to be incinerated, sparked a wave of deadly protests that left 36 people dead
and more than 200 injured.
It sounds like something from a science fiction blockbuster,
but is in fact the premise behind the Pentagon’s growing interest
in the neurobiology of political violence :
a relatively new field that combines neuroscience with more traditional
social science-based approaches to understanding human behaviour.

Why does a film depicting the Hoy Prophet as a Womaniser :
Trigger the brain mechanism to Kill the percieved composers ?
Why does the Brain get so easily Incited ?

How come the Hindu is so passive ?
