KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) Diana Nyad's latest attempt to swim from Cuba to Key West ended early Tuesday when the 62-year-old endurance swimmer was pulled from the water.
Another storm slowed Nyad early in the morning as she entered the fourth day of her attempt to swim across the Straits of Florida.
According to the Nyad's blog, the swimmer and her team found themselves in the midst of the storm around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. The blog post says everyone is safe but they were having to wait out the storm.
Nyad had been expected to arrive somewhere in the Florida Keys early Tuesday, but her team said she "lost six hours progress" in overnight storms Sunday.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (MarketWatch) -- Is it time -- finally -- to start thinking about buying Facebook?
I raise the question even though I am prominently on record for having argued from the beginning that shares of Facebook (FB, Trade )  should be trading for $13.80 -- and, though we seem to get closer to that target almost every day, we're not quite there yet. ()

Don't catch a fallin' knife...run fi you life.

Wall Street was sour on this IPO from the onset...and that doesn't bode well for the future of FB. Too much manipulation...

HAVANA, Cuba (ACN) -- Cuba has strongly rejected the threats by the British government to suspend the inviolability of the Ecuadorean embassy in London and break into the diplomatic premises.

The statement was made by Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez at the 9th Extraordinary Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our Americas (ALBA), held over the weekend in Ecuador.

This threat constitutes a hostile act, an unquestionable violation of international law and an attempt against the sovereignty of Ecuador, and it offends our Americas, said Rodriguez, as cited by PL news agency.
