that is a subjective statement ..unless you demonstrate for us how the USA accomplishes all that, i.e its value to the world..which would be the only reason why all would agree to be so governed?

if there is no value then the only remaining reason is force..and the stultifying remants of imperial control

Think mapoui, think. I will let you, the consumate thinker, dwell on how the US governs the world.

I have a fair idea alreay....

the usa sets no prices...how could they?

price has an inflationary component that makes it generally volatile...this inflation comes from banks controlling the creation of money, and their fractional reserve lending

then price has a monopoly component that also adds volatility.  a fully integrated industry can set prices..one that is not cant.

an inegrated industry setting the prices it wants domestic and global is a necessarily volatile factor.

the only economic situation that can keep prices stable would be a free and naturally balanced market, in which there is no usury.

there is no free and balanced market without usury in the western world.  they are all facist/bureaucratic monopolies n which the bureaucracy uses the peoples money to back up and bailout the corpproations.

the free market does not work because the corporations are protected from failure.  when the crap the people pick up the bills.

what we do have is a spoiled brat corporate state, full of corporate children sucking at the public teet, cleaning out all of society, impoverishing everyone other than themselves...then going around spouting that there are to mmany people in the world, that population  must be reduced...the poisoning, the food, air, water, creating all manner desease and rigging the health services to kill off the people by the thousands, ultimatley by the millions every day.

what the hell is there so complex that everyone cant undrstand the situtation?

we have arrived at a day at which little is unfamiliar historicaly save on factor...which I will leave you with...TECHNOLOGY!

you should go ask that question and try to find an answer...why is the level of TECHNOLOGY ACHIVED ON THIS EAY IS THE MOS SIGNIFICANT, FUNDAMENTAL AND DECISIVE FACT IN THE CURRNET HUMAN SOCIAL CIRSIS.

it is simple really but you dont know.  and you must know..for your own best interest ::eek::

Ont he contrary, the US determines the price of every commodity. Think COMEX.

In the context of geo-politics Europe is a mess, Africa is a lost cause, Middle East is hhaving their version of spring, i.e. Arab spring, Asia is lagging way way behind. And the only country where there is stability and peace is the US. Now would you want to invest in those regions or the US? Whose currency would you use?

See maps, you have completed an entire class in a few exchanges.

comex is the price thingy of the US federal government?

what are the constituents of true prices man?

as I said integrated corporations that have eliminated competiton in their industries

Banks doing their usury bit, causing the creation of lots of money in the economy far more than the goods available for sale.  so the cash chases and drives up the price of commodities.

Comex does not set prices but reflect prices.  the US government does not set prices.  corporations...banks and industry - set prices.  the stock markets do their bit to drive inflation and higher prices

but what does the world need america for..to do that?

what are the benefits for the world from american corporate monopolies that have eliminated competition setting prices that bankrupts everybody

what planet......?

you said america sets prices. prices for what then?
you mentioned COMEX!

Comex is an agent of the N Y stock exchange that deals in futures. setting prices for specificed areas of economic acticity....

you talked of all this in a setting of it being good for the world, necessary, essential..a need that justifies america's place in the world running things?

what the hell were you talking about?  that does not compute!

yu are right ultimately.  we are on different planets.  I shud have asked you to specify what yu meant before trying to answer

Dude...if you understand the futures market then you will understand what I am saying. Otherwise it is a waste of my time and yours. USA runs the world.

It is a free economy, with a stable currency, and a secured state.

I understand the futures market.......

but yu are the one who said that its a good and necessary thing for the world and I say not.

now you and the babble you said immediately above.... and you said I am the one who must see a doctor?

I am not in economic trouble!

my books are balanced, I live within my means and I have no debt I cannot pay in the morning if asked.

if america is all you say why all the noise about its dire economic straights?

why all the noise about outsourcing, unemployment, lack of good jobs, inability to maintain, replace and repair a crumbling national infrastructure..the end of the space programs , paying the Ruissians to take them up to their own space station...and on and on and on...?

if a nation has money why all those problems..student debt and no professional jobs..no economic growth, actual or forecasted, homes forclosues by the millions, truncated cities, losing millions of people and tax base, forcing the closure of hundreds of city blocks as in Detroit for example..

thousands of towns and cities on the verge of bankruptcy.......

can america pay all its debts by 12 noon tomorrow if its creditors demanded payment!?
