Big splash about what has been said by progressive medicine for years and years.
AND LOOK..the focus is still on LDL CHOLESTEROL and not on chronic aterial breakdown caused by sugar.

[/quote] This is bullshit science regarding sugar as a carcinogen . I remember in biology class that sugar , ccarbohydrates ands fats are composed of carbon , hydrogen and oxygen , the difference being their molecular structure .
If sugar is bad for you then so is carbohydrates like rice , wheat and all grains , eddoes and cassava

sugar as a harvested and prodcessed and concentrated product..brown sugar from sweet cane..fructose from corn...artificual aspartame'
sucking a cane, or eating beets or corn is a far cry from eating concentrated sugars in the volume they are eaten routinely.
eating ground provisions as a daily part of meals seems ok to me.
what... YU eat a pong of cassava, ah pong of dasheen, 2 hands of green fig and 4 yams everyday?
yu eat a slice of yam and a piece of whatever going...dasheen, fig, sweet potatoe, pumpkin etc
