NAACP Supports Gay Marriage; Chief Says "Marriage Equality Is A Civil Right"
Ziggy MarleyNAACP President Benjamin Jealous says that he hopes the group's resolution supporting same-sex marriage will encourage blacks to support marriage equality as a civil right if the question is put to voters on the ballot in Maryland or other states. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, the civil rights group's resolution was significant, as only 39 percent of blacks favor gay marriage, compared with 47 percent of white Americans, according to a Pew poll conducted in April.

the NAACP has always been a lap dog organization.  here they go sucking up to Obama politically, although Obama is the greatest enemy of blac' people..ever produced by his own people.

has Obama ever stood up for blac people on any issue like he purports to be standing up for gays here.

blac people fill up jails everywhere most unfairly, a development that threatens the very existence of blac people in america.

Obama has done nothing about that, said nothing, play bline deaf and dumb about it...  yet here he is standing up for a nothing, jackass issue..and the NAACP supporting him while their constitutentcy fills up the for profit, chain-gang  jails of america.

Obama is only black when he wants to get black or Hispanic votes. The rest of the time he acts whiter than the whitest white guy. I still don't get why people call him black...he is not black he is mixed and he was raised white!
