In my experience , I never once heard a single Afro  Guyanese :

Yearn to VISIT Africa....

like their Coolie counterpart ...

Even when relocated to North America:

dem still yearn to visit India ... :Rolleyes:

well i dont know about other ppl - but i know Guyanese always say their Guyanese - indian and afro.

i dont identify myself as "indian" from india to anyone - i always say "Guyanese" if they want to know more they can ask or google it - i could care less.

India is the land that our ancestors came from for sure, but i say i am going "back home" - i am referencing Guyana.

Having said that, it is nice to travel and visit all countries including india, middle east and Africa. One day i hope to go to on a safari.

funny  though i am more comfy around afro ppl than indos. Weird.
