The players are the main product of CWI and they are having a pay cut. What about President, CEO and other executives, how much of a pay cut are they getting??

IMV if your organization is performing badly financially for this long a lot of cuts needs to be made apart from the players salaries. Might have to makes some cuts in the number of members on the board itself. Its also interesting to note that when WI tours overseas they make no money at all. There has been little to no sponsorships either. Need people who know what they are doing to market WI cricket better than this

? West Indies Cricket Hit by Financial Crisis
A difficult and worrying time for West Indies cricket as Cricket West Indies (CWI) announces major financial measures.

• International players will face a 25% cut in retainer fees.

• The Men’s Super50 and Women’s T20 Blaze have been suspended for this season.

• CWI says the measures are necessary to address immediate cash-flow problems and wider financial pressures.

• CWI says it has spent more than US$80 million on domestic air travel over the past 15 years.

• CWI has secured a US$16 million loan facility from the ICC, with conditions attached to accessing the funds.

• The suspension of the Super50 also removes an important domestic preparation opportunity ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup Qualifiers.

West Indies cricket has a proud and historic legacy, but financial stability and a strong domestic structure are essential for developing the next generation of players. Hopefully, CWI can overcome these difficulties without further weakening the foundation of West Indies cricket.
