A left-hand opener with remarkable powers of concentration, Len Baichan

made hundreds in his first two matches of the West Indies' 1974-75 tour of :

Pakistan and India , the second a match-saving effort in the second innings of the

first Test at Lahore....

A car accident meant he missed the Tests against India ...
