45 Years Ago Today.....

..... I left Guyana with lots of tears and a heavy heart......was bittersweet really

I was the first member of my family to leave Guyana - broke my mom's heart to see me leave.
(Now I have dozens of famo in Canada and the USA)

But....I was leaving with my brand new husband on an adventure.
Starting a new left in this beautiful country of Canada and am very happy with the life we built.

My only regret is that I was not able to see my mom often and spend time with her.

Was the right move

Thanks for reminding me ....*phew*

I landed before but December with temperature of minus 40 degrees

and still going strong while grumbling about the WINTERS !

Looking forward to retirement in great health in shah allah ~~
