The former Surinamese President was on hand when The new President was formally sworn in. They shook hands and promised to work together for the Surinamese people. Former President Bouterse showed class and dignity as he hands over government to his successor. He never once claimed to be decent and honest and he is a convict in his own country. But he did what happens in a free and democratic country. In Guyana David Granger campaigned not on his record but on his claim that he is honest, decent and a man of integrity. Yet he behaves as a bully and refuses to demit office. In fact he is head of the rigging cabal trying to thief the elections. He is indeed a sanctimonious gangster.

Attempts to set fire on Umana Yana in Georgetown. Gecom office at Wismar, CID office at Anna Regina set on fire .Army base on the Essequibo Coast burnt down. There's a pattern and motive here. Already the PPP is being blamed. And the protests have started. Expect them to ground swell and then a declaration of a state of emergency.
