I walk into my Fortino's next door and what do I see..COW HEEl! all nicely cut up, clean and ready to go

I remember what you said about what you having fuh christmas..cow heel soup was it?

anyhow I got a bunch and I will make me a real nice comfort cow heel soup fuh christmas, with dumplins and a bit of macaroni Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

see fortinno an dem. it have west indian whispering in deh ears. before deh din used to bodder with cow heel and cow tail etc., deh wud tro'w dem away or gih dem away..or sell it fuh next to nutten.

now is big price fuh dem ting and dem bwoy. wen telling allyuh I vex. I cyar even buy oxtail again. di'ze dem Jamaican an' dem fault. deh talk too much. Oxtail is now more expensive than strip loin steak :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I mean I can afford it eh but the price get mih vex. I does jess watch it, fume and walk away :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

I don't even bother any more with Price.
ox tail at 11.99 per pound ...just gotta have it....*sigh*
cow heel and face and cow brain: tings that butcher used to throw way .

I only eat hassa/cascadoo if someone filet and clean it fuh me :whistle:

cook him enuff..slide off the shell and fry dry, dry. you can crunch the bones den. at least i think so if I remember right
