Estwick joins Windies ‘A’ for tour of England Lions

January 30 – Cricket West Indies (CWI) Director of Cricket, Jimmy Adams today confirmed that Roddy Estwick will not be travelling with the WINDIES Team to the ICC World Cup Qualifiers in March.

“We have decided that Roddy Estwick, will join the WINDIES A coaching team for the 6-week tour against the England Lions. Roddy is a highly regarded technical coach working within Cricket West Indies and his experience will be invaluable to our A team as they compete against a strong England Lions side over the next few weeks in Jamaica and Antigua.”

The England Lions are now in the region and will play three four-day matches and three one-day matches before departing the Caribbean on March 12.

I saw him working at close hand with the bowlers. There was no sign of improvement in the way the bowlers prepared, trained or bowled. It's sad but I'm glad the board are becoming proactive

oh man. I jess realized I have no enthusiasm anymore for west indies cricket from the cWI at all. even Jimmy Adams now is the pits. look at how he talks..inside a sick institution the cWI..as if it is a legit outfit doing real good work for those it purports to represent.

the cWI is a fake something, a total fukery as some westindians describe things that are are of no use but wasteful and corrupt.

I like the T20's now..and ODI but I am always looking at RSA, India, even England..never west indies. west indies is no the purest distillation of cricket shit there has ever been

Why was he Not FIRED ?
jeeezzzz....now he gets to mess with the A team

heard the A team s being renamed cWI " Sunheads"
Coconut heads was a close 2nd !
to go with Guyanan "mudheads" and england Lions.....
