I have been looking for reasonable, facts, figures and coverage of Opioids in Canada for a long time. I have found some

The Public Health Agency of Canada announced last month that an estimated 4,000 Canadians lost their lives due to drug overdoses in 2017—more than ten per day. Successive federal and provincial governments bear political responsibility for creating the terrible social conditions that have exacerbated the drug crisis and of chronically underfunding the healthcare system, which has proven utterly incapable of coping with the opioid emergency. Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have imposed a miserly 3-4 percent increase in provincial health transfers, which amounts to a substantial cut in health spending when the rising cost of healthcare and population growth and aging are taken into account.

I have a friend who used to be NDP...he does not even s[peak to me anymore. the social or existential conditions for Canadians are exactly times worse where the NDP control politically...the very party whose principles are leftist, socialist and supposedly in sync with the interest of the Canadian ordinary people.

the NDP is a fake political party far more dishonest and worse for the Canadian people than the Liberals or Conservatives. we know what we are getting when we vote for the latter tow parties. we may yet be fooled by the NDP but time has run out for them. the NDP is now know for the fake they are collectively

the state has outsourced the jobs..and are reducing the working population of Canada by killing them off literally by killer drug interpolation into the living process of the Canadian people

OMG! 4000 dead, this is outrageous! This is what BIG PHARMA does to already suffering people.

I recently watched a documentary series on the Internet called "The Sacred Plant". It's about weed and it tells the story of hundreds of people who have been helped by marijuana. In some cases weed treats chronic pain conditions better than opioid narcotics. And so far no one has died because of ingesting or smoking marijuana. But BIG PHARMA doesn't want you to know this, because they can't patent a plant which has been give to us by nature.
