Yeah, Bravo consistently averages 40ish. We need some inconsistency from Bravo; we need him to get back in the 50s.

compare him to  those selectahs recently passed :

Yeah, the WICB are consistently living up to our low expectations.

But Bravo's way better than his 40 average, and he's averaging that low because of how he personally decides to bat. He cuts out too many shots and refuses to nudge singles. Every Bravo innings then boils down to the bowlers bowling wide off his off stump, and waiting for a nick.

I've said this before, but I think team pressure, lack of team support, and inept coaching, has turned him into a kind of constipated batsman.
