2 Questions fuh Ketchim and Trinidaddy

Israel attack Syria.  Syria shoots down one of their planes, damaged another.  the Israelis threatened to destroy Syria for defending themselves against Israeli attack.  the Russians called in the Israeli ambassador and apparently read a riot act to the Israelis.  the Israeli stopped.

Recently the Israelis have started again to  bomb Syria to turn back Syrian military advances against Muslim terrorists.  of course  the Russians came out recently saying that they have no responsibility  to defend Syria..that they have a deal to help Syria turn back the terrorists.  they will not defend Syria against any other attack.  so here we have Israel again beating up on Syria, turning Syria back.

the obvious question is about what  appears to be counter productive behavior by the Russians.  Why would the Russians spend money and lives etc to fight the terrorist then allow Israel to turn around all that they achieve ::confused::

second question:  how do various capitalism create a multi-polar world..the stated Eastern..i.e Russian/Chinese...goal for the world ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::
