WI need to play all cricket in Guyana

This Guyanese crowd of cheering drunks and chubby Indian men really spurred this team to a win.

This WI ODI team is still weak though. Holder needs to let Bishoo bowl his full ten overs, needs to bat more responsibly, and needs to bat up the order. Walton, meanwhile, looks like he should be dropped. Carter too, but for whom?

I like how Shai Hope rotates the strike and works gaps (something only he and Mohammed seem capable of; he has a proactive, intensity about him), but he consistently fails to push on.

Mohammed was awesome, and I thought Lewis and Nurse did well too.

I don't like Powell, but he did well, and with the IPL stars banned or AWOL, there are not many people available to replace him.

No one but the most die hard of fanatics would have given then a  chance and I certainly was among those who did not. But the fact remains that we are overjoyed that  when they did pull one back they did it in such a spectacular fashion. Dare we wish for this to be more than just a one off?
