According to a report on rjrnewsonline.com, the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) has given its support to Dave Cameron who will be seeking a third term as West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president.
The report noted that the decision was made at a meeting on Thursday night.
It further noted that the JCA withheld its decision in supporting Cameron for a third term until a meeting was held with him.
In 2015, the JCA had initially opted not to back the Jamaican with talks of supporting Barbadian Joel Garner before mounting pressure resulted in an overturn of that decision.
