Forecasters have warned that another storm is due to hit the UK on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Storm Conor is due to affect the county on December 25 and 26, arriving shortly after Storm Barbara has moved over the country.

Those travelling today could face some travel disruption from Storm Barbara.

Severe weather warnings are also in place for Christmas Day and Boxing Day as a new low pressure system, named Conor, brings more strong winds and gales.

Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Dan Harris said; "The wet and windy weather is a result of two deep Atlantic low pressure systems crossing the Atlantic and passing close to the northwest of the UK bringing the potential for some disruption to power supplies and travel, and possibly structural damage.
