That was a thoroughly impressive run chase from England to win the series in very testing conditions. England now become the first team to win an ODI series in Bangladesh in more than 2 years. This group of lads continue to impress.
This match showed the strength in depth of the England squad. The regular top four of Hales, Roy, Root and Morgan were all missing, replaced by Billings, Vince, Duckett and Bairstow. I was especially pleased for Sam Billings who has been on the periphery for a while now. I said it before the series started, Ben Duckett is a future superstar.
This was an absorbing series, and sets up the two Test matches nicely.

While I was in favour of dropping Hales from the Test side, I would be disappointed if he were to lose his place in the ODI side. Since 2015, Hales has averaged 42.71 with 4 centuries. The only England batsman with more centuries over this period is Joe Root (5). And over the last year, Hales' average (57.12) is the second highest on the team after Jos Buttler (65.90).
Dropping Eoin Morgan based on his decision not to tour Bangladesh would open up a whole can of worms, and a possible backlash that the ECB would probably want to avoid. From a captain's perspective, I still believe he is the right man for the job. He has been a big reason why this England team has made large strides forward. I think he is a good captain and leader, however, his performance with the bat over the last year (32.13) does make him vulnerable.

Fair points apropos Halo and Eoin.
You know my personal view is that those two lads, should have toured.
I just think the ODI team has moved on and his batting has been quite inconsistent. Good player and has lead well but perhaps time to move on. As Captain he should have definitely toured.
Halo has to know his games in Tests or have a break, which I would advise, but not for the shorter formats.
