Simmons sacked

Adams is a great guy; would have liked him to get the job.

Simmons is a waste of time, but the WICB is a bigger waste of time. I like how the WICB issued a statement a few days ago saying that "Simmons definitely wasn't fired", yet are now retracting their statement.

I also like how Simmons called out and publically criticised the selectors.

Knowing the WICB, they're probably contractually obligated to keep paying Simmons for another 2 years.

I also love how the WICB fire their coaches immediately before a new series is about to start. These guys have better timing than Sobers.

Word on the street is, three Bajans will be taking over the coaching duties.

Adams refuse the job

right thing to have done :Smile

It appears that the words "fired" or "sacked" have been strategically avoided - "separates from" and "cut ties" must be better PR presumably.

The continued instability of Windies Cricket continues.

Phil should have stayed with Ireland and who knows the door may still be open for him.

If Jimmy has, in fact, declined the post, well done to him.

The frustration is the highest power in the West Indies, CARICOM, cannot even touch the WICB.

Pybus should do both roles for the same fee!

Cricket Ireland has suffered another blow in its attempts to find a manager for their

national academy after Toby Radford left after little more than a month in the role.
Radford's departure follows Chris Adams' u-turn over the job after he was initially

handed the position ..

The whole Board should get fired too, they are killing West Indies cricket.
