Traditional Indian parents throw son and partner elaborate gay Hindu wedding

Gay scenes are depicted on many ancient temples in India. It's a well practised way of life in many communities in India.

A hindu speaker once told me that in the hindu religion itself being gay isn't actually seen as a "bad" thing. It's just seen as another stage or rung on the "karmic" cycle of birth, death, rebirth, that all souls go through. If that's the case, then it's sad that it's considered illegal in India, which could be a result of influences from a 1,000 years of mughal rule and then a couple of hundred of british rule.

What lovely parents.  The world would be a better place if more people placed the love of their child above the demands of their culture/religion.  This is in stark contrast to the recent 'honour killings' reported here.
