Wouldn't the Guiness Book of Records clarify those issues for you guys? I don't know how reliable it is, but I would assume that it would have the records for the tallest and shortest person alive or otherwise. Just a thought...

America has been falling down the charts on every thing. I didn't even know that. Everything that is extraordinary about human kind I always find to be in other nations.

I wonder what they are doing out there to have their citizens to grow to such heights. It will be a sight to see if in 20 years such and such nation has citizens on average be 12 inches taller than those in America or other nations. I wonder how big their beds are by default.
