evin lewis looks like a good talent

His name will surely be in the mix. Although his overall first-class numbers are not too dissimilar to Chandrika's, he did have a strong regional 4-day competition this year, averaging 49.11 with 1 century and 3 fifties in 9 innings. Lewis also offers much more aggressive option at the top of the order - much different to Chandrika's defensive-minded skillset.

I think Chandrika, like all new openers, need to be given a run as,ย  in my mind, he seems to have the correct attitude for Tests.

Would I be correct in saying West Indies are not playing half as much tests as the other teams bar Zim and Bang?

Over the last 2 years, West Indies have played 17 Tests. The only teams to have played more Test matches over this period are England (24), Australia (22) and Sri Lanka (18).

It only takes me a minute. Plus, more often than not it brings to the forefront some stat I was previously unaware of.

With that said, if anyone does want to dig around for themselves, the ESPN Statsguru usually has the answers

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/...index.html

But I am more than happy to do any research.
