The Pakistanis have not beaten us at home for 10 years but have dominated us away.

I am sure the focus would be on Amir but this Pakistan team, will start nervously, will be no push over.

Not entirely sure about their batting but Misbah would want to win the toss and bowl first!

The forecast is a bit cloudy with average temperatures around 21C.

This will be a sterner test than the SL series and the Pakistanis have given themselves a good chance by being here forย  awhile.

Predictions?

Come on you England.

Dilly are you heading off to The Home of Cricket either tomorrow or during this test?

Quite excited and hope the weather does not intervene.

Stuart Broad, in his 95th Test, needs five more wickets to become the 22nd bowler to take 350 Test wickets.

Surprised Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first but so far so good for them.

Lords is always tricky for the first 90 minutes to 2 hours and then can be flat.

Saw an interview with Amir and comments of Atherton, Holding and Rameez. Amir came across very well and unlike the other two, Rameez thinks he should have been banned for life.

I disagree due to the circumstances.

I am looking forward to a great day at Lords where the weather is just right and the forecast seems good.

76-2 at Luncheon.

Ball looked handy and Mr. Khan at his game as per normal. I like how he tries to manoeuvre the ball.

If Younis gets stuck in, we may be in a bit of bother.

Ok here we go, let us have a good session lads....

Come on you England.

#7
Pakistan 80/3 (30.6 ov)

#8
England's slip catching under Bayliss/Farbrace is not as good as it has been in previous years. Why? I dunno. But it isn't.

#9
170/4

What a fantastic effort by the evergreen Misbah? Shafiq equally impressive.ย  Pakistan making full use of good toss they won.
