CNN host Don Lemon got personal on Thursday while discussing the recent police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Speaking with a panel that included various law enforcement experts, Lemon explained that “as accomplished as I am and a man of color on television who is recognizable to many people,†he always complies with police officers and says “yes, sir†when asked a question. “I do it because I want to stay alive,†Lemon said, adding that his “white counterparts†speak to police officers “in a way that I would never in a million years.â€
Is this guy for real? Does Don Lemon really believe that his life is in imminent danger with law enforcement?
These prostitutes...they ingratiate themselves wherever there is a camera rolling...striving for self-righteousness, popularity, political correctness, and blaming cops for the same things they avoid at all cost. Asking the police to deal with their people on a daily basis, when they escape from the very neighborhoods they now feign empathy and fraudulent concern over the recent police shootings.

How much interaction does he share on a daily basis in the neighborhoods he ran from?
When they have a problem, who do they call?

Mes, you really believe that??? I am astonished at the thinking that pervades our community.
Police do not go about leaving home with the intent of summarily executing black men. They want to go back home to their families. They want to have normal lives. They do not want to be dragged before a court, jailed, destroyed, and live with the guilt of killing innocent people.
These are human beings also....they may err in judgment, but to say that the black folks are perpetually in imminent danger is ridiculous by any standard.

Statistics will show that a majority of the criminals convicted are minorities, predominantly black.
Statistics will also show that there is a disproportionate blacks killed by police, justified or not.
Not sure where you want to go with this. The facts are that police do not leave their homes to summarily execute black males.

Just in closing, we (my husband and I) were stopped a few times. The policemen, though polite were definitely unfriendly, until they looked into the car and saw me. Then their attitude changed.

It is called consistency...not falling back, but holding onto principles: remaining rational, objective and non-pandering to populist, sentimental opinions.
