Darwin, the father of evolution thought sex was confusing. He wrote in 1862:

"We do not even in the least know the final cause of sexuality;

why new beings should be produced by the union of the two sexual elements.

The whole subject is as yet hidden in darkness."

Many species are totally preoccupied by sex and will go to great lengths to gain a mate.

The male bowerbird builds elaborate nests to impress females..

Sex is an opportunity for two organisms in the same species to pool their resources.

Asexual parents produce offspring that are basically carbon copies of themselves. Wink

#4
Joining together chunks of two separate genomes requires a different kind of process

– an egg must be fertilised.

It also means each parent only passes half of its genes to the offspring.  :-[

So, bearing all this in mind, why should so many species take the long and winding route

of sexual reproduction, when a straightforward path is available ?

Poster Chin is Asexual as her claim is !

her Identical Twins at 12 years old is 180 pounds each .

a split image of her 200 pound self.

Her 97 pound daughter takes after  her scrawny husband .

Is why Ketchim fascinated with sex and genetics suddenly? Bai you thinking of practising same sex in order to avoid the opposite sex?

Trying to get Chin to unnastan how she gave Birth during her Menopause :

to Identical Twin Boys and why them grow to 180 pounds each by age 10 !

BUT she head hard ....based on her above post !!
