Got him. Mathews goes. That combination of Jimmy and Jonny again.

Great stat courtesy of the Test Match Special guys: This is the first time since 1958 that a Test team has been bowled out for under 120 in 3 successive innings.

Sri Lanka digging in and playing a few shots. Looks like Cook may well yet get a chance to reach 10,000 runs in this Test. 2 overs left until the new ball is due. 291/5.

Current partnershipย  82 runs, 19.0 overs, RR: 4.31

Siriwardana 35, Chandimal 42 .

Close on 309-5 with the Lankans putting up a more spirited fight which is good to see.

Day 4 would be interesting.

Jimmy with the breakthrough this morning Though England should have had two with Bairstow dropping Chandimal Lead down to 47, Sri Lanka fighting hard.

Chandimal brings up a defiant century. A good player, is he. England being made to work hard. The odd ball has nipped off the seam, but the pitch is flat and docile. Sri Lanka lead by 6 with 4 wickets in hand. Could really do with Jimmy coming back after lunch and wrapping this up soon.

James Vince makes a right mess of that skier and England drop another. Come on, England. Sort it out.

430 - 7

Anderson to Herath,, goes for the review.... Pinned lbw playing across a full ball.

Is it sliding down leg? Don't think so. Clipping at worst I would think.

Well, it's smashing middle and leg flush.

Herath lbw b Anderson 61

Jimmy finally gets his second wicket of the morning. Herath trapped in front. Fair play to him though, he played his shots and really gave some tap to Moeen. Hopefully Jimmy can run through the rest of this tail in fast order. Sri Lanka lead by 33 with 3 wickets remaining.

That's 450 wickets for Jimmy. An impressive achievement.
