**** England v Sri Lanka at Riverside ****

Put up a fight lanka

Jimmy goes for 14 off the first five balls of the over and then bowls an absolute peach to Mendis. Nothing much he could do about that. 79/2.

Who can make a double for lanka

It won't be Thiramanne as he gets a beauty from Mo that knocks his off pole out of the ground. 100/3.

50! Kaushal Silva brings up his half-century with a leg glance for 4. Sri Lanka 126-3

Much better fight and application from Sri Lanka second time around. These two are close to the first Sri Lankan fifty partnership of the series.

146/3.

Look who's back in form? Angelo Mathews completes half century!

Current partnership  82 runs, 21.1 overs, RR: 3.87 (Silva 26, Mathews 52)

Day 3 session 3.

Good over that from Finn results in the wicket of Silva. He gave him quite a peppering of short balls and Silva top edges a pull shot to Jonny Bairstow. England needed that. Mathews taking the attack to Moeen right now. Giving him some right stick.

Lumley castle ghost seems to be around

Angelo moves to 80

Current partnership  39 runs, 11.0 overs, RR: 3.54 (Mathews 28, Chandimal 10) .
