This is RIDICULOUS  :-[

229 Runs added by de Villiers and Kohli for the second wicket, which is the highest partnership

in the history of T20 cricket. Incidentally, the previous best was also by these two: 215*

against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede in IPL 2015.

112 Runs accumulated by RCB in the last five overs of the innings - the most by a team in T20s.

Previously, no team had scored more than 100 runs in the final five overs  Wink

where ball-by-ball information is available)

They are the only pair to have shared two double-century stands in T20 cricket.

Chris Gayle is having an IPL to forget, averaging just 3.4 to date. He has managed a total of 19 runs in his 5 matches and has yet to reach double figures in an innings. That is almost unfathomable.

The fact that RCB's batting lineup features the top two run scorers (Kohli and ABdV) in the tournament (with Rahul also featuring in the top 10) goes to show the importance of having a balanced lineup. They just have no bowling. As such, it is looking likely they won't even make it to the playoffs.

RCB are going to need to win all 3 of their last matches to qualify. Their last match is against Dehli. Dehli get to face the Supergiants, who are awful, so you would expect them to win that match, getting them to 14 points. RCB would need to win all 3 of their final matches, including their last match against Dehli, to reach 16 points.

Khan to Guptill, no run, Zaheer hits Guptill's helmet. Guptill was late onto the pull and is

smashed on the helmet. The impact nearly caused the helmet to fall off.

Guptill now shadow-practices the sways and ducks  :-[

84 - 1 at the half way mark

Mumbai needs a win , badly : Polly coming pretty late !

With a ton of power still left in the shed, Mumbai Indians have to be targeting a massive total here. 120/1 with 7 overs left. A Delhi loss here would still keep RCB in with a shout.
