Gibbs surpassing Trueman!

5-1 loss not reflective of the relative talent of team and endorsed by Ian Chappell!

Julien opening the batting with Freddo!

Strat of the new era of domination!

Windies first innings at the MCG lasted only 30.3 overs!

Was this after Lloyd declared his Pace like Fiyah policy or after?

He still took Gibbs so he could break the record.

But same Lloyd kicked Shiv out before Shiv could break Lara's record... Tongue

Didn't Len Baichan get a ton in one of the warm ups and did not get a look in until the series was lost?

Prior to the first Test, Baichan played in 3 of the 5 warm up matches, including the final match against Queensland. In those three matches, he averaged 43.75 with one fifty and a high score of 62.

After the first Test, he played against Western Australia, scoring 10 and 14. He fared better against South Australia in a warm up match prior to the third Test, scoring 72 in the first innings before retiring hurt for 4 in the second innings.

Before the fifth Test, he scored 10 against Northern New South Wales and 30 against Tasmania.
