Seriously? If everything from one of the posts was true this is something that happens in my country frequently. Some rich bastards get high on something and run over some kids and they serve few years in jail to be released only because their families are important.
I just get chills up and down my spine when I think about that poor family who lost 4 members. I don't know if a song is appropriate but this is one of my favourites and this songwriter/singer is my favourite one. It explains how I feel about this type of judgement.
I noticed that the victims family were strong in their condemnation of drunk driving but nary a word about condemnation of Muzzo . Blood money speaks louder than words . like 10 million for each victim .
If he wasn't drunk during the accident, then I might have some pity for him. But he was, he has three times the level of alcohol on his body, that's what the article said. So with that, I won't even give the slightest bit of pity for him. He was under the influence of alcohol and he shouldn't have driven a car. If only he hasn't, then this accident wouldn't have happened.
Yeah, 10 years in prison is a good punishment. But he killed four people! It might not be intentional but his drinking was intentional. He drank and drive, that's willingly. Surely, no one forced him to drink. He is old enough to know that it is dangerous to drive whilst under the influence of alcohol. That is enough for him to be sentenced. Is 10 years good enough? Nope, at least for me and the family he has ruined.
