You seem to have much more knowledge on the subject than me. I was just writing about the difficulty I thought he faced pursuing baseball and that I think he could still be valuable to WI.

zac , baseball try out followed after the exile to sri Lanka .

What I was really trying to say was that his switch to baseball was ill advised since he was unlikely to make it. The fact he is now back in cricket might suggest that cricket was not made unavailable to him. I read of some of the circumstances surrounding his departure from cricket. Very troubling and controversial but also very strange. And since there were two different sides as I remember it, it was hard to get at the undisputed truth.
