I don't claim to be a journalist but as far as I'm concerned Bishop is one of the most thoughtful cricket analysts there are. The love-in as you call it, was worth the effort I think because his responses were well worth reading. It was clear he had given much thought to the subject. That's how it seems to me at least, you appear to disagree which is fine.

#12
He could not have thought it through Bishop clearly showed his true colors :

and his response was NOT worth the ink you wrote it on !

West Indies could NOT win without his 4 countrymen

FACTUM.

He was singing a BANNED illegal bowler to you

He was singing a court convicted felon on Revenge Pornography to you

and you sang along ~ "Kumbaya" ~

I would have preferred IF you had challenged his "flowery praises"

Because I am correct : west Indies are 2 Wins after 2 games.

Bishop can lament all he want  Tongue

I did't get what you got from what he said. I'm sure he was only talking about their cricket capacity and not extra-curricular activities in the case of Simmons. Narine, while he played, was one of the best T20 bowlers in the game. Nobody can seriously dispute that. All I think Bishop was saying is that the WI will miss his bowling.

Narine was working on his action and if he could've returned with a clean action and the same potency as before, WI would have benefitted tremendously.

I'm sure he's happy WI won without the four players

You asked me on the odda thread and I answered but you never responded.

Why would you "miss " illegal and criminal activity ?

They cannot "better " a team.

subscribing to this " will be missed " and "make team better" of 2 known Illegals.

zac, just tell him he full ah sh!t ! do not  infer any support of criminal activity !

extra curricular activity  ?? dont marginalise unless you too am Trini !

The Court found him guilty and ordered him to pay Damages to Miss Ho !

Lemme pull up my Porn Star thread for your review.

AND then tell me  Wink

So, are you saying he Simmons should be excluded from playing cricket because of what he did. As to Narine, I'm sure his illegal action is not something he did deliberately. Why would he want to subject himself to being banned and the humiliation surrounding his illegal action? If, somehow, he could correct his action and bowl as well as he did before, would you select him for WI if you were on the panel?

Yes.

I do NOT wish him on the incoming U 19 youths.

Shimron , Tage and Kemo Paul.

These are 17 - 20 years  old impressionable minds

and he aint  NO poster boy for moral behavior of Youths ..

Be that as it may : but de fact is : he is BANNED and its difficult to teach old dawg , new tricks.

West Indies can take a chance on him and IF he is called again :

PLAY with 10 men

#20
He'd be reported after the game and then tested. No chance of playing with ten men. If a man can correct his action and tests show his action in compliance then I don't see the problem. If he transgresses again and is reported then fine.

I wouldn't draw such a hard line against Simmons for something that had nothing to do with cricket. I'm not saying they should overlook whatever cricketer's do outside the game but I'd still pick him if he's good enough and focussed.
