St Patrick's Day

Irish lasses wanna have fun tonight !

SPD is the WORST day, second to New Years, to be anywhere near Times Square. Never before have I seen so many people gallavanting in the streets before 11am, completely wasted.

The only thing I actively hate about Saint Patrick's day is the fact that people come up to me (I live in England and I'm Irish) and wish me a happy Saint Patrick's day as if I'm THE representative. I'm pretty sure that Saint Patrick's day is more of an American-Irish tradition as I rarely see that big of a celebration in Northern Ireland at least. Then again, how could they celebrate it? They're in the pubs every day regardless.

Irish pub fare...delish !

Everyone has their day for gallivanting and celebrating. Some groups have their carnival or other similar types of events, for the Irish-Americans, it's Saint Patrick's day. It's good when people are able to maintain a linkage to their roots. As long as it's not a disruptive event, I will say "you go" to the Irish.

I went down to the local Irish pub (that's a bar in the UK), and had a drink or two with some of the folks I know there. Bought a couple of the girls in the pub a drink as well since I don't believe that a woman should pay for her own drinks.

Well I do pay my way. I am not like you, pleading poverty and leaving it to your "mates" to pick up the tab, r go and steal to pay for it. It is also better to pay for sex than to go and rape women. Why you think black people got such a bad image?
