You surprise me a bit there MAPPIPPEE, as it is totally out of order.
Had that happened in the Windies would there been such an outcry? Perhaps not but he is not in the Windies.
I do not think a fine was necessary, I do not think not interviewing him again was necessary (in fact it is their loss) but an apology would have sufficed.

but I will not excoriate him for it however, will not use the language I see flowing all around the issue: inappropriate, disrespectful and all that sort of thing.
that is my point really and purpose given the tone I have taken..to put this in a perspective far from as grave as all are making it out to be. the unnecessary gravity has already resulted in a totally undue and inappropriate fine of 10k Oz dollars. that is a hell of a lot of money for a cricketer.
