Boxing Day!

Why do we still have "boxing day?" celebrations?    This day was designed during the slave master days!!

While I am in agreement there should be a holiday, that holiday should be renamed.

each country should have that holiday named after someone or something significant in their respective country.

for example, Dec 26 should be called Rohan Kanhai Day!!!

I haven't even heard of this but that might be because I am living in the Europe. However it is odd that a holiday named like this still exist or it should have been at least renamed.

Got back from shopping with missus  in Boxing  day . It was more like cursing , scratching , hair pulling  . Things that are not allowed in a boxing ring . Can never figure why they call it boxing day.
