Stokes reserved his anger for Samuels, who reacted to the catch by standing upright, glaring

forwards and pulling the palm of his right hand to his forehead with austere efficiency......

A salute is meant to be a sign of respect, but Stokes did not seem honoured or amused by the gesture.
