CNN reports Tashfeen Malik pledged allegiance to the leader of ISIS on the same day she and her husband killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, according to law enforcement. According to Jim Sciutto, CNN's chief national security correspondent, Malik allegedly posted a note of support for ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, under a different account name, either during or before the deadly attacks. The report comes via several federal officials who've investigated the electronic devices the attackers used.

In his weekly radio address, President Obama on Saturday called for stricter gun laws after the San Bernardino shooting, the latest in a string of shootings that have occurred during the president's second term. The president did not go so far, though, as to call this shooting an act of terror. “It is entirely possible that these two attackers were radicalized to commit this act of terror,†Obama said. “And if so, it would underscore a threat we’ve been focused on for years — the danger of people succumbing to violent extremist ideologies.â€
