BAD LIGHT !

It is only suspended for the moment. Paksitan are five runs short of the D/L total.

Malik has a long chat with the umpires. 5.45 pm is the cut-off time for this light to get any better, which is under 10 minutes

No Pakistan No. 5 has hit a century in a chase, and Malik is four runs short of that.

5.46pm That is it, folks. The match has been called off and Zimbabwe have levelled the series  Wink

Pakistan drop down to 88 points level with West Indies - tied for eighth in the rankings. If only this series were to have taken place prior to the 30 September deadline to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy.

Pakistan have slipped to No. 9 in the ODI rankings - if they had been No. 9 three days ago

they would not have qualified for the Champions Trophy  ::LOL::

Well good for Zimbabwe and I hope Pakistan will lose some more odi matches so that the West Indies can be ranked higher than one of the original test playing nations.  Big Grin

Yeah, I gotta agree. Given the way that Pakistan purposefully avoided scheduling any more ODIs after their series win against Sri Lanka to all buy ensure their qualification, there is no way they would have come off the field if this game actually counted towards the qualification.
