The not so distant times of Darren Sammy, Ottis Gibson, Clyde Butts and Julien Hunte are now looking oddly like 'the good old days'.

I aint know wha running through Simmons mind - surely he knew what was going to happen. Or was he that naive?

Anyway WI moving forward. After disposing of SL dem will show Oz who is boss.

I think it is full time cricket got rid of the selectors because it is ridiculous when the coach and captain of a team can't say how they want to be in their team because of 3 random people who don't have anything to do with the management of the team during a tour.

it works for other teams

Simmons should just sue the WICB and move back to Ireland and beg for his old job back. He left a progressive team to come and join the sinking ship of West Indies cricket which is being captained by the WICB dictators.ย

West Indies cricket is once again in purgatory. Clearly not for nothing is the Caribbean known as the home of limbo.

The fact that Simmons walked back his comments, and has two-and-a-half years left on his contract leads me to believe he will keep his job, although I am really not sure how everyone can co-exist, unless Phil agrees to be a puppet going forward.
