The West Indies need a world renown champion cricketer outside of the West Indies to coach them. Having home grown men take charge does not work for them. Someone they can look up to. Someone who will impress on them. Men like Allan Border , Steve Waugh , Mark Taylor Richard Hadlee , Jacque Kallis , Sachin Tendulkar even going back to Geoffery Boycott for heavens sake. It would work for them.
