Hungary introduced new tougher migrant laws stating that enacting of these laws will “start a new era” for the country preventing entrance of illegal migrants.  Police are now given the authority to detain any person that violates or breaches the razor wire fence set up on the border with Serbia. Hungary has been a focal crossing point in the present influx of immigrants headed north, coming mainly from Africa and Middle East.
The New Hungarian law will come in effect from Midnight on Monday 2200 GMT. Anyone wishing to cross that border illegally will now face criminal charges and 30 judges have been spared only to try potential offenders of the law. Also damaging the newly built 13 ft long wire fence on the border is a criminal offence according to law punishable by either deportation or prison.
Authorities however stated that legal ways of immigration are still open for those who seek it.
Keeping in mind the immigrant crisis, if the fence does prove to be a no go forward area, people will have to go across through Hungary via the largely unguarded border with Croatia spanning 350 km or through the border with Romania spread over 450 km.

Why are they shunning refugees while we are all descendants of immigrants? Its ironic, isn't it? Most of the European countries are expecting Germany to accommodate thousand of refugees yet cannot even accommodate a tenth of those going to Germany.

Hungary is right.  Hungary is one of the 2 or 3 countries in Europe dat put deh foot down on all that. Hungary is not responsible for no dam refugees that america is making by the millions every freaking day.

Obama/Jews want to drive the Hungarian leader Victor Orban from power and to tame Hungary the Hungarian nation as well.  deh using this refugee bizness..watever it is.. to harm Europe in just the way they want to    .

[/quote] I agree with your views. Like Putin said, it was the NATO forces blindly following USA orders that started the migrant crisis. Remember the Arab Spring when the USA armed the resistant that were trying to overthrow Gaddafi in Libya and Assad in Syria? Those rebels are the ones who are causing all these commotion and now Libya, Syria and Yemen is much worse now than it was before.

Quote:Embattled Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has lashed out at pro-migration non-governmental organisations (NGOs) today, singling out those funded by Hungarian-American George Soros for criticism. He said they are “are drawing a living from the immigration crisis” while Hungary is simply trying to protect its standard of living.

In an interview with the Hungarian-language TV2 television network, Orban, who has been accused of creating a police state in Hungary since the start of the crisis, said that his actions were simply reflecting the will of the Hungarian people, and mocked the Austrians and the Germans for now following his example and securing the country’s borders.

“…one could joke that Austrians are now doing something they had previously continually criticised Hungary for, but this is not the time to do so,” he quipped, adding: “Europe is, after all, the land of democracy and it is impossible to go against the will of the people for a long time and without arguments”.

He has come under fire from left-leaning media in the West, who lashed out at him after he stated his concern that most of the migrants entering his country were Muslim. He said last week: “If we lose sight of the European idea, [Christianity] can become, on its own continent, a minority.”

When asked about this, he doubled down, stating “the truth is that we are protecting our way of life”.

And according to him, the migrants are no longer “refugees”. They have, since leaving conflict zones, passed through a number of safe countries before reaching Hungary, and attempting to go further into Europe to places like Sweden and Germany.
