Steve Smith is absolutely hammering the ball right now. Australia in a great position to chase this down. 59 needed from 42 balls.

13.1

Ali to Maxwell,  watch a catch! He's struck first ball. But it's all down to Ben Stokes. It was a short ball, Maxwell fluffed his pull

but it was still travelling wide of long on before Stokes ran around, diving to his right and pulled off a blinder

Maxwell c Stokes b Ali 44

Current partnership  35 runs, 4.0 overs, RR: 8.75 (Smith 23, Marsh 12)

16.3
Willey to Smith, SIX, that's even better from Smith, this time he stays on leg stump and drives it over deep cover into the stands...

two wonderful pieces of batting

16.2 Willey to Smith, FOUR

12 runs off Final over required

19.1
Stokes to Wade, 1 run, OUT, mix-up! A length ball is swung to long-off, Wade turned and, head down, wanted the second

Wade run out

18.3
Willey to Smith, OUT, he's gone! Ten short of a hundred. Smith got too far underneath this as he aimed to clear deep midwicket.

The ball went high, came off the bottom of the bat and his hand came off the handle...Billings takes the vital catch

Smith c Billings b Willey 90

Incredible last over from Stokes. Credit also to Reece Topley to come into the side and bowl well at the end when Australia were really well position with Steve Smith at the crease. Trini was right. It's good to see England finally catching up to the rest of the world and playing fun and aggressive cricket.

Stokes...U effing beauty..
Held his nerve..!!!

12 from last over was very much a gettable target,Top notch bowling to win by 5 runs.Though he didn't get 3 wickets, his constrained bowling front really could not give Aus a lease to finish it off.
