Lol..On what basis do you judge that they will slip down the table ?
if its based on Ashes defeat,i reckon it might prove you wrong.

I dont have the stat,but its the instinct that says.Aus ain't going down anytime soon.

They have a balanced bowling attack,a decent batting line up,good fielding unit.What more will we require for a team to perform well.

That was also the comment for west indies with Lara ,Shiv and Gayle : some 20 years ago !

Well let Smith bat where he feels comfortable and let him make that decision as captain so that when the team fails he can't blame anyone for bad advice.
