Let's just compare using test matches, because not every great fast bowler has had the opportunity to play ODIs and ODIs have rapidly changed over the years with the new laws and bats making it unfair to modern day bowlers. Although test cricket too has become unfair to bowlers with the very flat pitches, big bats but hasn't changed as much as ODI cricket.
