Ahmed and Voges selected for Aus WI and Ashes tours

Legspinner Fawad Ahmed and veteran batsman Adam Voges have both been included in Australia's squads for the upcoming Ashes tour and the two-Test series in the West Indies that precedes it

Peter Nevill has been confirmed as the backup wicketkeeper to Brad Haddin, while there was no room for Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner or Joe Burns

What do you think of Jackson Bird? Hopefully I will get a chance to see him up close and in person throughout the summer as he signed with Hampshire though I am curious to get your own insights.

Dilly it's really unfortunate how forgotten he's become, he was on quite a run before fracturing his back. Not sure how he'll break back into the test lineup with all them young guns lining up

Thanks DownUnda. It looks as though he is back playing First Class cricket again for Tasmania but not really in the wickets as of yet. His career First Class (22.21 Ave, 44.5 SR) and Test (23.30 Ave, 48.6 SR) numbers, albeit in limited games, are mighty impressive.
Australia really do have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to pace bowlers.
