Just laying out the worst case scenario as an England fan.  :'(

Group B is quite interesting. The schedule is:
1. India v WI
2. Pak v SA
3. Ire v Zim
4. India v Ire
5. SA v UAE
6. India v Zim
7, UAE v WI
8. Ire v Pak

I am taking India and SA to win their remaining matches. This would mean India topping the group with 12 points and SA #2 with 10 points.

I am taking Ireland to beat Zimbabwe.

So, going into the last 2 matches the points would be:
Ireland 6
West Indies 4
Pakistan 4

I am taking WI to beat UAE giving them 6 points.

The last game is Ireland v Pakistan and that game starts 5 1/2 hours after the WI/UAE game starts. So it is quite conceivable that Ireland and Pakistan will pretty much know exactly what they need to do to qualify.

But we will see.

You know what I find really strange .... no one seems to be really enthused here about this WC even though Australia is a host country.  Enthusiasm seems to emanate from around the world.  Maybe I'm missing something .....perhaps when it comes down to the quarter finals ..... ::confused::

I think these teams will be in the quarter finals:

India
Australia
South Africa
New Zealand
Sri Lanka
West Indies
Ireland
England

LOL.

Didn't know Calypso was female or that she was downunda.

The crowds seem to be quite supportive for the games in New Zealand.

And I love the competition there for the one handed catch. I thought the Tshirts were free but not so.

"Here" meant Australia ....

The NZ games have been well attended and very enthusiastic crowds, even when the Kiwis aren't playing ... however, doesn't seem to be the case in OZ ...at least not yet except for the PAK/IND match !!!

The one handed catch competition is only in NZ and is a great idea ... pot is $1M at the moment.  You have to buy the tee-shirts ... money goes to charity.

10 day weather forecast for Napier shows rain weekend of 14/15 - that could spell trouble for the West Indies.

10 day forecasts tend to be unreliable. I hope this one is wrong.
