Having inhabited the bottom of the table for such along time, Guyana has suddenly come very good winning games consistently and convincingly.

Normally one witnesses a gradual climb back to the top but Guyana has done it with a BANG!

From what we understand their cricket administrationis is in shambles and they are playing roughly the same cricketers.

What has facilitated this transformation?

Is it that their players, having played for a while, are muturing as a Unit?

Also they do not have the opportunity of the IPL and other International Club Tournaments so their squad is relatively undisrupted.

Yes we all know, as is famously said, it is 'dung heap' cricket but nonetheless they are performing.

What are the reasons?

Reason? . The West indies do not want Guyanese on the team and so all their best players are home.
Chanderpaul , possibly the best one day and test player in the Caribbean right now is not wanted  .
This has made Guyana a cohesive unit

The fact that Jamaica and Trinidad are rubbish now, makes Guyana look a bit better than it is.

Guyana's best batsmen still struggle to convert 60s-80s into 100+s.

I told you more than once and i will reiterate :

It matters NOT your place in the Caribbean dung heap standings.

What matters is the INDIVIDUAL talent that comes forward.

I further belabored the point that Guyana gets the most Caps.

BUT you continue to rehash the topic : just to parrot Guyana " bottom standing"

Why ?  :-\

So that is my agenda of understanding and discussion not denigration as I leave that sort thing to you.
In terms I prefer focussing on Cricket and less on gossip.
