A teaching assistant at the Bronx Academy of Letters is accused of raping a child.
Police say 29-year-old Maria Contreras was arrested Saturday night on six counts of rape and two counts of a criminal sex act with a child under 15 years old.
Sources tell News 12 that the alleged acts occurred at Contreras' apartment at 2385 Barker Ave. The sources say the alleged victim is a 14-year-old

I didn't mean it that way.
Of course there's a possibility that the child made the story up, but there's also a possibility that it's true.
Her faith will be determined by the Justice System, I hope the child was not making this up causing an innocent person to be incarcerated. A Teacher's duty is to guide and protect students not to expose them to these types of act.
