Will religion ever disappear ?

agar battie ain't gat nothing foh do with religion.

i believe that religion will pass as humanity gets over its basic internal contradiction and survives destruction by its own hand.  resulting human success and confidence will lead to less and leas need of existential palliatives for survival.  indeed the people will no longer need religious opium to live proving Marx ultimately wrong

yet in the social democracy I envisage that replaces capitalism social freedom would be real and in such a society people would be free to deal with religion as I have suggested...get into it, strip away the nonsense and get to cores, reform and keep or jettison as they see fit..to keep and continue to develop religion if they determine that they need religion... that the religion they would be developing is true and useful

it would be entirely up to the people.  my opinion is that they would need less and less, based on the what I presented as evidence.  I could be wrong.  but anyway freedom to look honestly, freely, without bias and coercion and to choose as they see fit... is the deal

I look at it differently.  I think this phase of religious practice will pass as people get more educated and caught with the bogus practices. 

However, religion itself not going anyway.  We will (hopefully) see a better practice, closer to the teachings
